Regular servicing helps your car run smoothly and safely, while detecting potential issues early to avoid costly repairs. Between services, simple DIY checks and maintenance can also help keep your vehicle in top condition.
When is my Vehicle servicing due?
You can check when your vehicle was last serviced by referring to its service history, usually recorded in the service book. If you don’t have access to this, contact the service centre where your car is regularly maintained to request the records.
Check your vehicle logbook to see when your last service stamp was recorded.
Your vehicle manufacturer will recommend an appropriate interval or mileage for your next service, usually outlined in your handbook. Many modern cars also feature on-board computers that track service intervals. If your car has self-diagnostic features, it’s important not to ignore service warnings, even if they appear before reaching 12 months or 12,000 miles.

What You Should Bring to Your Vehicle servicing
When bringing your car in for a service, it’s helpful to have your vehicle logbook on hand. While not essential, having your logbook stamped after each service helps maintain a Annual Service history, which can improve your car’s resale value and reassure potential buyers that your vehicle has been well cared for.
If you are booking a Annual Service, please also bring your locking wheel nut key so that our technicians can perform a complete wheel-off brake inspection.
Time to Book Your Service!
If your car is due a service, book with us today and save on annual maintenance by combining your service with an MOT.
1 Visual brake check: The technician looks at the brakes and visible components without taking them apart.
2 Full brake inspection: The brakes are taken apart, cleaned, and put back together to make sure they are working perfectly.
