Do Electric Vehicles Require an MOT?
Like petrol and diesel vehicles, electric and hybrid cars must have a valid MOT certificate once they are over three years old. The key difference is that fully electric vehicles are not subject to an emissions test, so this element of the MOT inspection does not apply.
